Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office Captain Wanda Edwards, who has since resigned, issued this GBI ASSISTANCE REQUEST; this should have been carried out by either the Sheriff or the D.A. J. David Miller. Neither the Sheriff or the DA were present.

    • Funny you should mention that because I was just talking to an associate researcher of mine who brought that to my attention. I had seen it before when I was wading through the document pool months ago but it wasn’t until tonight that it actually crystallized – the positional asphyxia information description…

      Sigh..

      There is also a drawing circulating of the mats in the gym showing how Johnson would have climbed atop them from the bleachers and then taken his fateful swan dive down the center hole. And those who are drinking that “Kool Aid” comment with their thanks, finally some professional illustrations, etc…

      I would like to do a poll of everyone who has ever heard about the story and find out who outside of the state of Georgia actually buys the mat theory.

      I haven’t met a single non-Georgian who does.
